Build from a complete wood family

Overgrown Willow supplies a complete wood family in Mielon’s The Sift. The author includes logs and stripped variants, planks, structural pieces, signs, shelves, boats and vegetation. You can therefore plan a coherent build around one family instead of treating its log as the only useful output.

Begin with the building detail you need. A wall, a staircase, an entrance and a labeled storage corner require different finished pieces even when all use Overgrown Willow.

Match the family member to the job

Author-listed members Building or travel decision
Logs and stripped variants Choose the exposed beam or pillar appearance
Planks Choose a base wall or floor palette
Stairs and slabs Test steps, roof edges and changes of height
Fences and gates Choose a boundary with an opening
Doors and trapdoors Compare a full entrance with a smaller cover
Pressure plates and buttons Choose the control that fits the interaction
Shelves Include the family in a storage or display corner
Signs and hanging signs Label the build using a matching wood family
Boats and chest boats Choose whether the intended trip needs cargo space
Foliage, saplings and vines Plan the vegetation separately from structural wood

These are the family members the author lists. The table’s building jobs are editorial examples, not extra mechanics or automatic crafting recipes. Check the recipe available in your installed release when converting a collected material into a finished part.

Make one useful sample before a bulk collection

For a small test, place a plank section beside a log or stripped variant, add the stair or slab your design needs, and compare the door or fence detail. This checks the parts that shape the finished build. A stack of raw wood alone does not tell you whether you like its roof edge or entrance.

Compare the sample with Siftslate if you want a stone-and-wood palette. For a window, the Sift Rubble and Ichor Shard route leads to Ichor Glass. Settle these material branches before counting the finished pieces for the full design.

Keep decorative vegetation on a separate collection list. The author includes foliage, saplings and vines, but the checked page does not give a growth-time or fertilizer rule. The presence of a sapling establishes the item family; use the instructions available in your release for growing it.

Turn a small wood supply into a travel option

The published 1.1.2 Fabric 26.2 package provides these specific recipes:

Recipe input Arrangement Output
One item from the Overgrown Willow logs tag Shapeless 4 Overgrown Willow Planks
5 Overgrown Willow Planks Two sides above a full bottom row, leaving the center empty 1 Overgrown Willow Boat
Overgrown Willow Boat and a Chest Shapeless 1 Overgrown Willow Chest Boat

For the plain-boat recipe, two eligible logs yield eight planks, enough for one boat with three planks left over. Choose the chest-boat conversion when cargo is the goal, then check the actual waterways and route in your generated world before setting out. These recipes establish the vehicle output, not a claim that every forest path is navigable by boat.

Keep a wood trip distinct from a creature trip

The author’s gallery includes an Overgrown Forest scene, and its creature description places Sifters especially in Overgrown Forests. Use the forest guide when your question is about that environment and its inhabitants.

A wood-focused outing has a different useful result: the named parts needed for the sample or build. If your separate goal is Blub taming, prepare the Soul Block route described on the Blub page. Collecting more wood does not advance that interaction.

Continue with the finished palette

Use the blocks and items directory to pair Willow with another material family. For a first visit, the Mielon beginner guide provides the entry, return-reference and supplies context. The project hub keeps this community project separate from official Dungeons II areas.
