Ichor Lakes in Mielon's The Sift

Mielon names Ichor Lakes and springs among the dimension's terrain features and shows a lake at night in the author gallery. They are a liquid-collection destination; the Rubble-to-Shard route for Ichor Glass is a separate resource task.

Choose a lake trip for liquid Ichor

Ichor Lakes and springs are named terrain features in Mielon’s The Sift. They connect the landscape to a liquid-collection task. The author also publishes an explicitly labeled Ichor lake at night in the project gallery, giving the location type an author-supplied visual reference.

Use a lake visit when you want liquid Ichor. A glass-building project follows Sift Rubble and Ichor Shards instead; it has a different starting material even though both branches use the Ichor name.

Use the author reference for the environment

The Mielon gallery labels its lake scene as a nighttime view. The dimension’s author description says night moves toward deep blue tones and is less dark than an Overworld night. It also describes independent weather and rain using Ichor-colored particles.

These give the reference scene a specific context. A change in sky or rain appearance is not itself a change in the lake’s liquid rules. Identify the author, location caption and material together when comparing the screenshot with your own world.

The current description names both lakes and springs without a fixed location chart. Use the landscape you actually find as a collection reference. Your generated world’s coordinates make a useful return note; another world’s screenshot does not provide the same position.

Search a feature rather than a single lake biome

The published 1.1.2 Fabric 26.2 package treats Ichor lakes as world-generation features used by several biomes. Overgrown Clearing and Overgrown Slopes include a clearing-specific lake feature; Overgrown Forest and its forest slopes include the ordinary lake feature. Ichor Snowy Peaks and several Siftslate environments also include that ordinary feature.

This helps choose the search task: you are looking for a liquid feature in a suitable environment, not necessarily a biome literally named Ichor Lakes. A biome’s feature list allows generation there; it does not guarantee a lake in every patch of terrain. Find an actual accessible source before deciding that the collection trip is complete.

Pick the container for the result you need

Intended result Relevant preparation Continue with
Transport the liquid A bucket and a chosen destination for it Ichor collection and storage
Carry a short bottled effect Glass bottles The bottled-use section of the Ichor guide
Build with glass or panes Sift Rubble and the shard branch Siftslate building branches
Find snowy material forms A snow-forming environment Ichor Snowy Peaks

For the liquid route, the author allows buckets and glass bottles. Contact grants Regeneration I and slows movement slightly, so consider your approach and return route while collecting. The detailed container, bottle and cauldron behavior belongs to the dedicated Ichor guide.

Mark a collection point you can revisit

Choose one lake or spring as the reference for a first collection. Note its position and nearby landmark, bring back the intended container form, and place it at the destination you chose. This completes the transport task before turning it into a storage project.

Mielon’s Ichor does not form infinite sources. Retaining a known collection point therefore serves a real purpose. If you want gradual replenishment at a base, use the author’s cauldron and Pointed Dripstone route on the liquid guide rather than assuming an ordinary water arrangement will refill your stock.

For a second outing, let the remaining material decide the destination. More bottles will not replace Ichor Shards for a window, and a snowy peak is a different environmental objective from a lake. The resource directory connects those choices to the finished item you want.
