The Sift Blocks, Items and Structures

Bond an Echo Golem with an Echo Shard to receive Soul Blocks, then choose Singer or Blub interactions. Charoite strengthens eligible enchantments but prevents later Anvil combinations. Abandoned portals can supply Siftite materials, templates, and the Rift Music Disc.

Follow the resource chain you need

In Mielon’s mod, Soul Blocks connect creatures and progression, Charoite changes enchanting, Siftite upgrades equipment, and Ichor supports regeneration and building. The directory below keeps those uses separate.

Soul Blocks: from Echo Golem to your next task

The resource chain is:

Soul Canyon → Echo Golem collects Soul Blocks → Echo Shard bonds the golem → deliveries go to you.

Without that bond, the author describes deliveries going to a Singer. Your supply can then support Singer interactions or Blub taming. The 1.1.0 release adds Singer bartering and a rare Wellspring music disc from the Singer.

Choose which interaction you want before spending the supply. An Echo Shard changes who receives future deliveries; a Soul Block is the resource used in the later interactions.

Charoite: enchantment strength with a tradeoff

Charoite replaces Lapis Lazuli in an Enchanting Table. The author says it adds 20 levels to the required XP and increases each rolled enchantment that can normally exceed level I by one level. The preview shows the increased result.

There is a lasting restriction: Charoite-enchanted items cannot later be combined with another item in an Anvil. Renaming still works. Before enchanting a valued item, decide whether later Anvil combinations are part of your plan; this choice affects that route.

Stone, wood, and glass

Siftslate is the dimension’s main stone. Overgrown Willow supplies a broad wood family, including planks, stairs, slabs, doors, boats, and hanging signs.

The 1.1.0 changelog adds Siftslate Bricks and Sift Rubble. Rubble can yield Ichor Shards, which make Ichor Glass and panes. For a building task, choose between a stone palette, a wood palette, and the glass branch before gathering bulk materials.

Abandoned-portal loot

The author’s description lists vegetation and building materials, Charoite, Emeralds, Diamonds, and rare Siftite Nuggets among possible loot. It also gives:

  • 50% chance to contain the Rift Music Disc.
  • 40% chance to contain a Siftite Upgrade Smithing Template.

These are author-stated probabilities, not results measured by this site. They describe possible rewards, so a single structure does not promise either item. Use the Siftite guide when the template is your goal.
