The Sift Biomes and Areas

Separate official areas from Mielon’s terrain

Meadows and Carapace appear in official Dungeons II coverage. Mielon’s mod has ten biomes with independent weather and its own terrain features. Choose the game before using a landscape name to plan an expedition.

Landscape or feature Context What it helps you find
Meadows / Meadow Official Dungeons II coverage Area-specific game coverage
Carapace Official Dungeons II coverage That named area’s encounters
Soul Canyons Mielon’s mod Echo Golem and Soul Block route
Ichor Lakes and springs Mielon’s mod Liquid collection
Ichor-Snowy Peaks Mielon’s mod Snow-forming environment
Sniffer Caves Mielon’s mod A distinct named terrain feature

Meadows / Meadow

Xbox uses Meadows, while the Minecraft Live recap uses Meadow. Both occur in the official Sift coverage. Use either spelling alongside Dungeons II when looking for that area’s guide.

The announcements provide visual context rather than a fixed coordinate route. Their names are useful identifiers, but this page does not turn the artwork into an invented biome map.

Carapace

Carapace is also named in the official reports. Use the game’s area name to choose relevant encounter coverage rather than substituting a mod’s terrain. The checked official text does not give a detailed terrain or resource inventory for this area.

Soul Canyons and caves

Soul Canyons connect to the Echo Golem resource route. Sniffer Caves are another named terrain feature. The author also lists monoliths, cliff arches, sculk formations, and abandoned portals, giving you several kinds of landmark to distinguish during exploration.

Lakes, springs, and snowy peaks

Ichor Lakes and springs connect the landscape to liquid collection. The author says Ichor-Snowy Peaks can accumulate up to two layers of Ichor Snow. That is a specific environmental behavior, rather than a claim that every part of the dimension is snowy.

Sky, weather, and coordinates

Mielon’s dimension has its own animated sky and independent weather. Night shifts toward deeper blue without becoming as dark as an Overworld night; rain uses Ichor-colored particles. Coordinates correspond to the Overworld at 1:1.

Use the coordinate relationship for position reference, not as an assumption that terrain will match across dimensions. For a resource outing, choose a landscape connected to the item you want, then follow the first-trip route.

Continue by task

Use blocks and items for resource uses, mobs for creature interactions, or Dungeons II for the official game’s setting.
