Find the area beyond the Deep Dark portal

Singer’s Meadow is the first area you encounter in The Sift in Minecraft Dungeons II. The published location record places the Singer and Echo Golems outside the Deep Dark portal and identifies the early objective as The Illagers from the Rift: Explore the new dimension.

The useful first-visit sequence is to enter the area, read the Sift tides tutorial that unlocks there, and follow your current objective. This is a Dungeons II location: Mielon’s Ancient City song is a separate Java mod procedure.

Minecraft Wiki explicitly identifies Singer’s Meadow as the location also called Meadows. These source spellings point to the same area’s coverage; the record does not establish a patch that replaced one area with another. Use the full name to distinguish it from Minecraft’s ordinary Overworld meadow biome.

The official announcement also names The Carapace. It is another Sift region, so a desert or humbler-husk objective belongs to that area rather than this entrance meadow.

Recognize the entrance and terrain

The location record describes red sculk, teal grass and blue trees, with Ichor pools interrupting the ground. The Sift side of the Deep Dark portal sits above a small hill, with crates and tall blue walls nearby. These features give you an entrance reference without requiring a fixed coordinate map.

For your first pass, keep the portal landmark in view until you have read the tutorial and identified the objective marker. The presence of a pool is useful for recognizing the landscape; learn the Dungeons II environmental rules before choosing a path through it. The healing-bottle behavior on our Mielon Ichor page applies to that mod’s liquid.

Use the first visit to learn tides

Singer’s Meadow introduces the Sift tides tutorial. That makes the entrance a useful place to learn the system before extending the trip into another region. Read the tutorial in your game and then continue the named exploration objective, keeping the area’s appearance separate from the current tide’s effects.

The location record lists Wrath of the Sculkers among its quests and Sculk Monstrosity as a boss. It also records passive creatures such as Blub, Echo Golem, Slabber and Trill alongside hostile encounters. A meadow appearance therefore does not describe a permanently peaceful zone.

If you are looking for a creature, use the mobs directory to identify the game and entity first. If you are choosing the next region, return to the biomes and areas directory. If the location is absent from the game you launched, check Sift availability by game before trying a portal recipe.
