Choose your game before your portal
How to get to The Sift depends on the game and community project you use. Start with the name of your installed game or mod, then use its row below. An Ancient City shown in two videos can lead to two different procedures.

Set up the attempt
Identify the installed project
Read the author and filename in your launcher or downloaded file’s source page. If a friend sent you instructions, ask for the project link rather than just “The Sift mod.” Use the compatibility checker when your game version or loader is the unresolved part.
Separate installation from activation
First confirm that the intended mod or pack loads in a disposable world. Then follow the entrance procedure. Searching for a different portal recipe cannot fix a file installed in the wrong profile.
Prepare to return
Our suggested preparation is to back up the world, mark your starting point, and make your first visit a short orientation trip. Keep a return reference before heading toward a distant landmark. That gives you a simple first objective without assuming every project shares the same travel rules.
Why did my Ancient City portal not open?
Check the project identity first, installation second, and activation steps third. Keep those checks separate: changing files and trying a new recipe simultaneously makes the result harder to understand.
For Mielon, continue with the full song and tuning instructions. For a key-based tutorial, compare its author with the Wellspring row. Bedrock instructions should identify the pack author and package version.
Entrance questions
Is there one universal Sift portal recipe? Use the row matching your setup. Sharing a destination name does not make activation methods interchangeable.
Can I use a Java tutorial on a phone? Start with the Bedrock author comparison and your device’s import options; a Java loader tutorial belongs to a different installation path.
