How to make the new portal in Minecraft

Start with your game and installed project. The official vanilla activation method is not published; Dungeons II uses its adventure route, while Mielon documents a Singer and note-based entrance.

Choose the setup you are using

There is no single activation recipe that applies to every Sift video. Use this order before placing blocks or playing notes:

  1. Read the game title: Minecraft Java, Minecraft Bedrock, or Minecraft Dungeons II.
  2. For Java, check whether a Sift mod is installed and identify its author.
  3. Open the instructions for that exact project, then follow its entrance interaction.

The official announcement says the sandbox Sift is planned for 2027 and leaves its access method for later details. It does not establish a current flint-and-steel, horn, or music recipe for unmodified Java or Bedrock.

Unmodified Java or Bedrock

If you found an Ancient City frame in an ordinary survival world, identifying the frame is the useful first result. The frame guide explains its setting. The announced new dimension does not turn a community tutorial into a vanilla recipe. Check current availability before changing your world to follow a modded demonstration.

Minecraft Dungeons II

Continue through the game’s adventure and follow its objectives. The official Dungeons II overview presents a journey through rifts into The Sift. Open the Dungeons II guide for the appropriate game route. Java mod installation and a craftable sandbox frame are separate tasks.

Mielon’s The Sift mod

The author description starts with a Goat Horn at the Ancient City frame. The Singer then reveals eight Sonorous Deepslate blocks for the musical interaction. This is a mechanism of Mielon’s interpretation.

Use the complete portal song guide for Note Block placement, tuning and playing order. The Sonorous Deepslate guide helps identify the resonant base. Check installation first if the author’s interaction is absent from your world.

If an input does nothing

Check the stage where the instructions diverge. No Singer interaction suggests checking the installed project and version before retrying a tune. A musical stage requires the correct base and note setup. These are practical diagnostic checkpoints, rather than proof of a particular bug.

For another Sift project, return to the mod directory and read its own entrance documentation. Similar project names do not make the Mielon song universal.
