Talismans in Minecraft Dungeons II

Talismans supply passive bonuses or companions. You can equip three, and their levels rise while equipped, making the choice part of your longer-term build.

How talismans work

A talisman is an equippable item that provides a passive benefit. The current Wiki record describes up to three equipped at once, with levels I, II, and III increasing as a talisman remains equipped. The level determines the strength of its bonus.

Talismans are a separate equipment category from actively used artifacts. Some supply a statistical benefit, while companion talismans summon a creature. Choose the passive job you need before treating every talisman as a combat button.

The table describes effects in Talisman revision 3814211, checked October 2, 2026. It groups recorded entries by purpose without assigning a universal “best three.”

The source also records secret chests for Soul Chip in a Sift dungeon, Lucky Clover in Frozen Highlands, Emerald of Good Fortune in Lullaby Hills, and other talismans. A regional chest record is not an exact coordinate route or a guarantee from an ordinary chest.

For the Echo Golem side quests, read Lullaby Hills and Echo Den. The reward task and whether it is a first-clear or repeat reward should be checked against the active quest’s reward panel; the source table is not a guarantee that every completion gives every listed item.

Let the equipped talisman develop

Because level increases while a talisman is equipped, swapping frequently can change which item you are developing. If one effect directly supports your build, keeping it equipped gives that item time to grow.

The recorded level system does not supply a universal elapsed-time or kill-count formula here. Use the item’s current level and bonus in your inventory instead of an invented timer. Worked Like a Talisman is the achievement for upgrading a talisman to level three.

Fit the talismans to your next task

For an artifact-focused attempt during Endure Tide, distinguish soul capacity, soul gain, and cooldown: they solve different constraints. For a melee build, compare whether you need damage, healing, or a safer movement rhythm. A companion slot serves a different role from a damage multiplier.

Review your weapons and enchantments alongside the three passive slots. Return to the Dungeons II overview for the full equipment context.
