Are there active Minecraft Dungeons 2 codes?
The checked official sources do not provide a verified public list of reusable Dungeons 2 reward codes. They do provide a current Aurora Cape watch-reward campaign, purchased game access and in-game party invitation codes. Identify which kind you have before choosing a redemption page.
The Aurora reward is for Minecraft Java and Bedrock, not a free Dungeons 2 game key. Its official code comes from an eligible livestream watch task. Read the campaign announcement and official redemption page. This page does not invent a working promo code or publish someone else’s private key.
Which meaning of “code” do you need?
| Code type | What it does | Where to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Aurora Cape campaign reward | Grants the eligible Java/Bedrock cosmetic reward | Official Minecraft Aurora Cape redemption section |
| Purchased game or add-on key | Activates the product and storefront stated by the seller/issuer | That storefront’s official activation flow |
| Dungeons 2 party code | Invites a player into the current online party | In-game Join by party code |
| Console or debug command | Changes game behavior through a supported command interface, if one exists | No public Dungeons 2 command list verified here |
The party code is eight letters/digits and identifies the host’s current party. It does not grant ownership, emeralds, DLC or a cape. Mojang explains it in the official co-op guide. Share it with the friends you intend to invite rather than trying to enter it into a product-key form.
Redeem an Aurora Cape reward
The current campaign requires an eligible live Dungeons 2 stream: 15 minutes on Twitch or 3 minutes on TikTok. Claim the code from the platform’s reward flow, then sign into the intended Microsoft account at the official Minecraft redemption page.
The published watch campaign ends October 14, 2026, and received codes must be redeemed by October 31, 2026. The campaign has account, regional and supply conditions. Follow the Aurora Cape guide for those details and the source’s timezone wording. Reaching the watch time is a separate step from claiming and redeeming the code.
If a code fails, check the campaign section, the issuing platform, the deadline and the account you signed into. A screenshot of a stranger’s code is not evidence that it is unused or valid for your account.
Activate a Steam game key
For a key explicitly issued for Steam, Valve’s instructions are to open the Steam client, sign into your account, choose Games → Activate a Product on Steam, and follow the onscreen process. Use Steam's official activation guide.
Check the named product: the base game and Deluxe Upgrade are different entitlements. An upgrade key does not supply the base adventure. If the receipt names another platform, use that platform’s official instructions rather than trying the key in Steam or the Aurora Cape form.
We have not verified a public free Steam key or discount code for Dungeons 2 as of October 2, 2026. The Steam guide and edition comparison show dated official purchase facts; they do not certify a third-party seller’s key stock.
Console commands and cheat codes
If “code” means a console command, debug command or cheat, we have not verified a public command table for Minecraft Dungeons 2 in the checked official FAQ and gameplay-system explanation. This is a separate question from redeeming a cape, product key or invitation.
Do not import a Java or Bedrock command as a Dungeons 2 unlock instruction. The eight-character party code also has no documented role as a debug command. No command syntax or guaranteed cheat is supplied here. “Console” can additionally mean your Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo hardware; that platform’s product-key flow is still distinct from an in-game command.
Join with a party code
The host shares the current party code, and the joining player uses Join by party code in the game. Crossplay supports the game’s available platforms, subject to each player’s game access and online requirements. The total is four heroes, including local couch players. Mojang's party-code instructions.
Use cross-platform multiplayer to set up accounts and the correct hero mode. Once access is settled, continue to the Dungeons 2 hub for The Sift adventure rather than treating a cosmetic reward as dimension access.
