Look for the talisman companion

Prickle is a summoned Dungeons II companion associated with Prickle’s Mark. The entity record derives the creature name from that talisman’s name. This gives a concrete way to identify what a guide or loadout description means by Prickle.

The interaction starts with summoning equipment. The source records Pukey Diva as a development codename, which may explain older footage labels.

Read the ground effect in a group encounter

Prickle spreads large purple veins across the ground around it, immobilizing enemies within the area. When several visual effects overlap, trace the pattern outward from the companion and observe the affected enemies together. This connects the effect to its source instead of mistaking any purple effect for a Prickle summon.

Use Prickle for its documented movement-control role. When comparing talismans, read the current Prickle’s Mark item description for the effect’s duration and area.

Compare three different companion routes

Prickle is associated with a talisman that summons it. Wobble also has a talisman route, but its record names a specific acquisition chain: complete Wobble Run, receive Wobblestone, then summon the companion. For Prickle, the equipment name to look for is Prickle’s Mark.

The official Dungeons II Blub pet is different again: it is Deluxe cosmetic content and cannot fight. Mielon’s tameable Blub belongs to a separate mod. Decide whether you are looking for a battlefield summon, a cosmetic pet, or a mod companion before looking for an acquisition item.

Use the item name when checking equipment

The Wiki explicitly marks the creature’s name as community-derived from the talisman. Searching your equipment or a guide for Prickle’s Mark therefore gives a more concrete item reference than assuming every appearance of the nickname is a separate unlock. Pukey Diva is useful only for tracing development material.

If you already have the relevant talisman, inspect its in-game description and use the companion’s purple ground effect to verify which summon you are seeing. Continue through the Dungeons II guide for the game’s equipment and quest context.
