Identify the game in your search
Minecraft Dungeons is the series name and the title of the original standalone dungeon crawler. Minecraft Dungeons II identifies the sequel that introduces The Sift. Use the searchable cards above to select the right game, especially when a video or discussion shortens the name to “MC Dungeons.”
Original adventure or new dimension?
The original launch FAQ describes heroes fighting the Arch-Illager through levels, using weapons, artifacts and enchantments. Its game is a separate adventure within the Minecraft universe. Read the original-game entry when identifying that title.
The Dungeons II launch article centers the sequel’s journey into The Sift and the illagers’ activity there. Follow the Dungeons II guide for that adventure and the Sift creature directory to identify its inhabitants.
A dungeon inside Minecraft is a different search
A small structure in a Java or Bedrock survival world is not enough to identify the Dungeons series. Look at the title screen or the named product in the tutorial. A mission-based adventure and a sandbox mod profile lead to different instructions, even when they share the same block-built art style.
If your goal is to install a Sift dimension in a Java profile, use the community mod directory. If your goal is the announced vanilla arrival, use availability and versions. This series directory is the entry point for choosing the adventure game.
Follow the Sift route
Start with Dungeons II, then choose the task: dimension identity, portal identity, biome identification, or a specific creature. The product choice keeps first-game information from being mistaken for a sequel objective.
