Wonderful Wheat in Minecraft Dungeons 2 is a talisman that summons a llama companion. Obtain it by defeating Mosstrosity, the secret boss unlocked after collecting the eight prerequisite secret talismans.
For players following that collection, this is the final reward: eight items open the dungeon, and this ninth item rewards the fight. For a companion build, it is the route to bringing a llama alongside your hero.
How to get Wonderful Wheat
- Collect the eight items in the secret talisman checklist.
- Travel to Howling Woods in the Overworld.
- Enter the unlocked Lush Caves secret dungeon.
- Defeat Mosstrosity.
- Open the chest left by the boss to collect the final talisman.
The prerequisite collection takes you through the Sift as well as Overworld regions, dungeons and rifts. Emerald of Good Fortune’s Lullaby Hills chest, Medallion of Momentum’s Humbler Huskland chest and Soul Chip’s Sift dungeon reward connect the route to the dimension.
If only this reward is missing from your secret collection, you are at the boss-reward stage. Return to the Mosstrosity route rather than starting another sweep for a ninth prerequisite chest.
What the llama talisman does
The talisman summons a llama to fight alongside the hero. Its job in the loadout is a companion, while other talismans supply effects such as damage, movement speed or extra loot.
BeardBear’s reward inventory at 3:30 describes the summoned companion as a “woolly wanderer”; the Wiki identifies it as a llama. The item is shown in the Talismans inventory under the Wonderful Wheat name.
The general talisman list contains several companion choices. Compare them by the creature you want to bring:
| Companion talisman | Creature |
|---|---|
| Tasty Bone | Wolf |
| Prickle’s Mark | Prickle |
| Wobblestone | Wobble |
| Golem Kit | Iron Golem |
| Wonderful Wheat | Llama |
That comparison gives you a concrete reason to choose the reward: you want the llama companion in your build. Its secret collection status explains where it comes from; its companion effect explains why to equip it afterward.
Choose a slot for the llama
Place the talisman in one of your three talisman slots. It belongs alongside your other passive and companion choices. Artifacts have their own active-use equipment role, covered in the build guide.
With one slot used for the llama, consider what the other two should support. If your build relies on ranged attacks, compare a ranged damage or ammunition passive. If artifacts are central to the next fight, compare cooldown, Soul capacity and Soul gain. Those bonuses address different parts of your loadout, so use the talisman overview to choose the effect you actually need.
You can also keep a familiar combat loadout while collecting the eight prerequisites, then swap in the llama talisman once you have claimed it. The secret collection and the equipped three-slot selection serve different purposes throughout this route.
Which passive should make room for the llama?
Compare the slot you are about to replace, rather than the whole build. Swapping out Emerald of Good Fortune trades its extra-currency chance for a companion; replacing Medallion of Momentum trades a movement-speed bonus. Keep the passive that solves the problem in your next encounter. For a collection trip, currency or travel support may suit your route. For the next boss attempt, you may prefer the llama alongside the two combat bonuses you already use.
