Minecraft Dungeons 2 PS5 price and access
Minecraft Dungeons 2 has a PS5 release, launched September 29, 2026. The US PlayStation Store checked October 2 lists $29.99 Standard, $49.99 Deluxe, and $20.00 Deluxe Upgrade. The store labels the game PS5 and supports one to four local players.
Choose Standard for the base adventure, including The Sift. Deluxe includes the base game plus its cosmetics and first two DLC packs as released. The upgrade is an add-on for an existing base-game access route. Compare editions and DLC if you are deciding whether those extras are worth buying.

PS Plus and four-player co-op

For crossplay with friends on Xbox, Steam or Nintendo, use the game’s party-code method. The invitation code is eight letters/digits and joins the current party; it is not a redeemable game key. The multiplayer guide explains that flow and the online hero mode.
Keep the online hero tied to the intended account
Mojang says online heroes are stored on its backend. Link the PS5 platform account and any other platform accounts to the same Microsoft account to use the same online hero across devices. Official cross-progression instructions.
That progression support does not mean a PS5 purchase supplies a Steam or Nintendo license. Mojang describes online and offline as separate modes; do not assume an offline hero will merge into online mode later. Choose the intended mode before starting the campaign.

Published PS5 features

Remote Play is an access feature for your PS5 game; it does not establish a native game release on another device. Controller remapping support likewise does not give this guide an independently tested button table. Use the in-game settings to see the layout for your controller and chosen profile.
