Who the Prime Enchanter is

The Prime Enchanter is an Illager High Council leader and a boss in Hiking Frozen Highlands. The character wields a soul block in their hat, enhanced enchanting powers, and gauntlets filled with soul energy.

The Sift overview lists the Prime Enchanter as a visitor. That is a story relationship to the dimension, while the current character record places the campaign battle in Frozen Highlands. It should not be read as a claim that the character is a native boss found roaming The Sift.

Reach the campaign encounter

Continue the main quest to Hiking Frozen Highlands. Use the world map and the active quest’s Guidance Trail to follow the current objective rather than looking for the Prime Enchanter among The Sift’s resident mobs.

The Minecart Station record lists Frozen Fortress and other Frozen Highlands return points. Approach stations as you discover them, so a return trip can use the network. For the controls and the difference between station travel and a quest trail, use fast travel.

Recognize the recorded attacks

The character Wiki describes teleporting, shockwaves, and Vindicators spawning during the fight. It also attributes powering up soul-corrupted mobs to the Prime Enchanter.

Those observations give a practical way to read the encounter: reacquire the boss after a teleport, watch the arena for incoming shockwaves, and keep track of Vindicators rather than assuming every threat comes from the boss alone. This is advice derived from the recorded behavior; it is not a tested damage rotation or a guarantee about a particular gear combination.

Recorded behavior What to watch
Teleporting Where the boss reappears before continuing an attack
Shockwaves The area and direction of the incoming wave
Vindicators spawning Nearby enemies that can interrupt focus on the boss

No fixed health, damage, phase threshold, or drop chance is assigned here because the character record does not supply those figures.

The soul-powered story

The companion novel The Rift connects the leader’s abilities to a stolen Echo Golem soul block. The Grand Illusioner journal also refers to “PE” completing preparations around the Harvest Fest events, without specifying exactly what all of those preparations involved.

Read the Prime Enchanter alongside the Supreme Evoker to understand how different leaders use the same source of power. For the broader resource and invasion story, use The Sift story.

After the encounter, continue your active quest toward the missing Note Block return stage when it becomes available. The quest directory separates that campaign progression from rematch tasks; the Dungeons II overview connects the character to the rest of the dimension.
